Name of the post : Assistant Professor
Number of posts : 119
QUALIFICATIONS : ( P.hD / Master's Degree / Doctoral Degree) For the posts at sl.no. 1 to 10 & 55 to 68: Essential: 1 .Ph.D./Doctorate Degree in the subject concerned. or related field.
2 .Master’s degree in the concerned discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent
in the point scale system. A relaxation of 5% may be provided at the
graduate and Master’s level for the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled
Tribe/Differently -abled (Physically and visually differently- abled)
3. (1).The NET/SLETwill be an essential qualification for the
recruitment to the posts of Assistant Professor or equivalent in the
discipline where NET/SLET is conducted by the ICAR/UGC/CSIR or
any other Central/State Govt. Agency .
(2). The NET/SLET will not be
an essential qualification in the discipline in which NET/SLET is not
conducted
Fee of application : For each post separate application along-with
all documents and the prescribed application fee of Rs. 1000/-(Rs.500/-
for SC/ST candidates) through University Cash receipt or crossed Bank
Draft drawn in favour of COMPTROLLER, G.B. PANT UNIVERSITY
OF AGRICULTURE AND TECHNOLOGY, payable at Pantnagar
State Bank of India, Branch Code No.1133/ Punjab National Bank,
Branch Code No. 4446/U.Co. Bank, Branch Code No. 0678 should
reach the Office of the Chief Personnel Officer (Recruitment Section)
of this University latest by 15.2.2012.
